One arrested in connection to deadly Gallatin shooting

GALLATIN, Tenn. (WTVF) — One person was killed another was hurt in a shooting in Gallatin Wednesday night.

Officers found two people with gunshot wounds in the 100 block of Harris Lane around 5:22 p.m. William Anton Phillips, 36, of Gallatin, died from his injuries.

Gallatin police arrested 19-year-old Parsha Lamont Pitts Jr. in connection to the shooting. Pitts was charged with attempted first degree murder, first degree murder and aggravated robbery.
