Two men were injured after a struggle over a handgun in Haynes Park.

The shooting happened in the 100 block of Haynes Park Drive after 2 p.m. Friday.

Authorities said 24-year-old Lawrence Gilbert Harris went to that location to meet with the victim, reportedly an acquaintance.

When he got to the victim's home, they had an argument over clothes.

A handgun struggle then ensued, and Harris was shot in the hand. Police said he drove himself to Skyline Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The victim was shot at least three times. He was last listed in critical condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was expected to be okay.

Harris was charged with attempted criminal homicide. He was being held on a $250,000 bond.
