Two juveniles were injured in a stabbing after allegedly attacking a woman.
The incident began late Saturday night at Studio 615 on Broadmoor Drive.
Officers said they were called to the scene to check out a large fight. When they got there, a group of people scattered, and 20 to 30 of them got on an MTA bus.
Once on the bus, multiple people allegedly tried to attack a woman, but she had a knife.
Two juveniles were injured and taken to the hospital. Police said they were going to be taken into custody and possibly charged with misdemeanor simple assault.
The woman’s injuries were unknown, but those at the scene said she showed obvious signs of being assaulted.
Officials with MTA released the following statement:
"At approximately 9:40 p.m. [Saturday] evening, a fight broke out onboard a Dickerson Pike Nashville MTA bus that resulted in three individuals sustaining non-life threatening injuries.
Further details surrounding the incident are not available at this time. The Nashville Metropolitan Police Department is on scene and Nashville MTA is fully cooperating with their ongoing investigation."
The investigation remained ongoing.
