Two people have died in a motorcycle crash on State Route 231 on the Rutherford and Wilson County line.
The highway was closed while officials with the Tennessee Highway Patrol conducted their investigation.
The crash happened just before 6 p.m., and officials expected the road to be reopened around 10 p.m.

THP officials said a man and woman were killed in the crash between a passenger vehicle and motorcycle.
The victims’ identities and details of how the crash occurred were not known.
