Two people, including a child, were killed in a crash in Robertson County on Highway 25.

The wreck happened after 4:30 p.m. Friday on Main Street in Cross Plains near Eastside Drive.

Reports stated a vehicle, driven by 29-year-old Justin D. Webb, of Hendersonville, was traveling west when it crossed over into the eastbound lanes for unknown reasons and hit a second vehicle, driven by 75-year-old Bettye L. Pedigo, of Cottontown.

A third vehicle, driven by 69-year-old Elbert Pedigo, also of Cottontown, hit the second vehicle as a result.

Webb and a 9-year-old boy in his vehicle were killed in the crash.

Bettye Pedigo was injured in the wreck, and Elbert was unharmed.

Troopers with the Tennessee Highway Patrol said the investigation was ongoing. They asked drivers to avoid that area Friday evening while they investigated at the scene.
