2 Killed In Motorcycle Crashes In Clarksville

Two motorcyclists were killed in separate crashes over the weekend in Clarksville.

The first happened around 5 p.m. Saturday on Fort Campbell Boulevard. Police said a man in his 20s was traveling north on his motorcycle when the driver of an SUV, a man in his 40s, failed to yield when he was turning left.

The Nissan Rogue collided with the motorcyclist. The victim died at the scene.

The driver of the SUV and multiple passengers were taken to Tennova Healthcare with undisclosed injuries.

The investigation remained ongoing. No identities were released. 

The following day, a motorcyclist was traveling on McKenzie Drive when police said he lost control of the motorcycle and struck the roadway surface.

The bike skidded across the road and struck a parked vehicle. Police said he was not wearing a helmet.

He was transported to Tennova where he was pronounced deceased. His name was not released. No photos from the scene were available.
