Two people were killed in a crash on Highway 62 in Putnam County.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating the crash that was expected closed the highway until 11 p.m.
According to the THP report, Rudy Levine, of Grimsley, was driving westbound on Hwy 62 when he lost control.
Levin's Chevrolet turned sideways and was hit by James Oakes, of Monterey, who was driving the opposite direction on 62.
Levine's vehicle stopped off of the road facing west, and Oakes' Nissan stopped facing Levine's vehicle with it still partially in the road.
Levine and his passenger, Jesse Morrison, died at the scene of the crash.
