The bodies of two men were recovered from the waters of Pickwick Dam in Hardin County.
The incident happened around 11 a.m. Wednesday morning.
The men were identified as 32-year-old Casey Cox, of Chester County, and 69-year-old Michael Ray Terry, also of Chester County.
According to Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency officials, the boaters went through the dam gates and came through the other side of the dam.
Officials said Somehow the boat was sucked through the spillway portion of the dam on the lake side of Pickwick.
Officials said the water conditions were dangerous due to recent rain and flooding.
