2 more Tennessee nursing home residents die from COVID-19

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Two more Tennessee nursing home residents have died from COVID-19 in Davidson and Putnam County.

At the Nashville Community Care and Rehabilitation in Bordeaux, a total of 21 residents and 10 staff have tested positive. One of the residents has since died.

At Signature HealthCARE of Putnam County, 32 residents and 19 staff members have tested positive. The company said a fourth resident has now died from the virus.

Nashville Community Care and Rehabilitation is owned by the city of Nashville, but it is run by Signature HealthCARE.

The company said all staff members who have tested positive will not return to work without special and verified medical clearance.
