NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police said they’re on the hunt for a man involved in three overnight armed robberies south of downtown Nashville.

The first happened just after 10:15 p.m. Monday at a Mapco on Nolensville Road. Police did not have details on what the men took, but said they were armed at the time.

About 20 minutes later, police think the same men were behind another armed robbery at an Exxon gas station on Murfreesboro Pike, located near the airport.

This was just three miles away from the first robbery.

The third happened at a Citgo gas station in Antioch at 11 p.m., less than five miles down the road.

Police caught two of the men during their response to one of those scenes. A description of the third suspect was not released.

During last Friday's weekly Metro Police meeting, South Precinct reported 18 recent robberies.
