A child was found inside a vehicle alongside two overdose victims in Davidson County.

Police were called to the parking lot of a Burger King on Highway 70 South in Nashville Tuesday evening.

Once on scene, officers found a man and a woman both unconscious in the vehicle with the 2-yearold child. The man and woman were identified as 35-year-old Christopher McGill and his sister, 32-year-old Jessica McGill, both of Kingston Springs.

Reports stated Jessica was unconscious and received multiple doses of Narcan, an opioid overdose reversal drug.

Christopher was not in as serious condition as his sister. He was reported to be the father of the young child. Christopher was found unconscious, partially hanging out the driver's side door.

The child was not harmed, and was taken care of by staff inside the business before later being placed in his mother's custody.

Police said Christopher admitted he and his sister went to the business to buy heroin. He also admitted to drinking three shots of whiskey and using heroin. After buying heroin, Jessica told authorities they injected it while in the van.

Christopher was charged with child neglect and second offense DUI. He had previous convictions for theft and drug possession. Officials said he remained in jail in lieu of a $7,500 bond.
