SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. – Authorities in Robertson County said they worked two separate crashes Sunday on Interstate 24.
According to officials, both wrecks happened near mile markers 21 and 22 on the interstate around 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. They said it was unclear if the second was related to traffic from the first.
The first crash involved four vehicles. Officials said no one was injured.
Two vehicles were involved in the second wreck with six people injured. Authorities said none of the injuries were life-threatening.
Traffic was backed up for several hours in that area of Interstate 24. No further details were available.
