KINGSPORT, Tenn. (AP) — Authorities say two people have been shot at a dentist office in East Tennessee.
Sullivan County Sheriff Jeff Cassidy told WYCB-TV that the shooting in Kingsport on Wednesday was a domestic situation between a husband and wife. He says someone inside the office was legally licensed to carry a weapon and shot the shooting suspect.
Sheriff's Office spokesman Capt. Andy Seabolt told news outlets that both wounded people and were taken to a hospital. There's no word on their conditions.
Seabolt said there's no danger to the public.
