NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police say two men were hurt in a shooting overnight in Nashville.

According to Metro police, the original call for a shooting came in just before 4 a.m. Tuesday at a Save A Lot on Clarksville Pike.

Police showed up and didn’t find anything, but just around the corner in the Cumberland View Public Housing, they found the first victim.

The man was sitting near the corner of 25th Avenue North and Dowlan Street. Police didn’t even know he was injured. They realized someone shot him in the stomach, but the man wouldn’t tell them anything – not even who he was.

Cameras in the area show him walking from behind a dumpster and over to the spot where he was found. Medics took him to the hospital, but his injury isn’t considered serious.

Shortly after this, someone walked into Nashville General Hospital with a gunshot wound. Police believe it’s related.

Because at least one victim is being uncooperative, police say they’re still trying to figure out what happened and where the shootings took place.
