Investigators have been following a clue in an overnight shooting that left a man critically injured outside a Hermitage nightclub.

Surveillance photos released from Pharaoh's Lounge in the 2500 block of Murfreesboro Pike showed two men jumping out of a white Nissan Juke and opening fire on 23-year-old Jamilah Jackson, Jr.

The shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, and police said it's believed to be targeted.

Jackson was rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he remained in serious condition Saturday night.

The suspects were described as two men, one thin and one heavyset, both with dreadlocks.

Anyone with information has been asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
