NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A manhunt is underway for two suspects in connection with a convenience store burglary in Donelson.
The incident was reported around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, at a Mapco store on Donelson Pike near Allen Road.
Officials with Metro Police said two men wearing masks tried to break into the store, not realizing a clerk was inside at the time. They reportedly threw a rock at a side door, which was locked, but the store itself was open for business.

An officer later spotted a red pickup truck that matched the description of the suspects' vehicle at a nearby Thornton’s on Lebanon Pike.
One man was briefly taken into custody at the scene but he was later released.
Police have not yet released a description of the suspects.
