Two teenagers have been taken into custody after allegedly firing shots during a car burglary in Nashville.
The incident happened early Tuesday morning at an apartment complex on Lincoya Bay Drive near Percy Priest Lake.
A neighbor reportedly spotted two juvenile suspects breaking into a car and confronted them.
At that time, one pulled a gun and fired at least one gunshot, barely missing the neighbor. Both suspects escaped on foot but were apprehended a few hours later.
Officers did find a handgun at the scene, likely dropped by one of the suspects.
Two teens were questioned in the incident and are considered persons-of-interest in the case. Police said they're still investigating whether they're involved but they were out past their curfew.
