Officers were called to an area in North Nashville after two women were injured in a late-night shooting.
The incident happened shortly after 11 p.m. Monday outside a corner market at 16th Avenue North and Buchanan Street.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said two women were shot in their legs by a man in a black Toyota Corolla.
It’s unclear what led up to the shooting.
Both victims were taken to an area hospital and are expected to survive. Police said they are not cooperating with investigators.
A suspect description was limited at this time.
