CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Clarksville police said an unsecured handgun lead to the accidental shooting and death of a 2-year-old boy on Wednesday night.
The shooting happened around 10 p.m. in a home on Pembroke Road where three children under the age of 4 were living. Police said one of the children gained access to the gun and shot a 2-year-old boy, who died from his injury.
Police did not immediately release further details on the shooting.
