A 2-year-old girl was killed after being hit by a vehicle in Clarksville.
Natalie Hall with the Clarksville Police Department said the toddler was near an apartment or housing complex.
It happened around 5:15 Monday evening on East Knollwood Circle off of Hietts Lane.
The little girl was hit in the road, and then taken to Tennova Healthcare by EMS where she later died from her injuries.
Details of the incident and the name of the child were not available. The investigation was ongoing.
