NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The first baby born in the mid-state was baby boy Hudson Jase, who was born at 12:45 a.m. at NorthCrest Medical Center in Springfield.
Hudson was 7 lbs, 4 oz and is 21 inches long.
The next was Blakely Scout Rediker at Vanderbilt University Medical Center at 2:04 a.m. Blakely is the youngest of four children and baby and mommy are doing well.
A third baby was born at TriStar Centennial Medical Center at 3 a.m.
Murfreesboro welcomed little Amoura Rose Handy to the world Wednesday at 6:07 a.m. at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital.
Amoura was 19 1/4 inches long, and weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces. The nursing staff celebrated Amoura with a gift basket fit for a birthday princess. Mom and Dad are Nashville residents who met through their shared love of race cars.
