NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A 27-year-old woman was found shot to death in the parking lot of a South Nashville apartment complex late Tuesday night.
Metro police said Holly Vantrease was shot while in the passenger seat of a car on Tampa Drive. Her body was later left in the parking lot of the apartment complex not far from where she was shot.
Investigators working with La Vergne police located the car, which has since been impounded. Metro police said the witness with the car has been questioned.
