A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Gallatin Pike in Madison.
The wreck happened in the 1200 block around 5:45 a.m. Sunday near Briley Parkway. Police have identified the victim who was killed as 29-year-old Lucretia Fisher.
Reports stated Fisher was headed southbound when she left the road for unknown reasons and hit a telephone pole before traveling back onto the road where she was hit by another driver, identified as 30-year-old Zachary Levine.
Fisher was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she passed away. Levine was not injured.
Police said there was no sign of alcohol or drug involvement in the crash. The investigation remained ongoing.
