More than a year after a South Nashville murder, a second person has been indicted in the case.

Metro Police said they charged William Sigsby in the death of Johnny Broadnax Jr. during an apparent drug deal in May 2016.

Sigsby was already in jail on unrelated charges when police served the indictment to him.

When they arrested his co-defendant, Dameisha Clark, she allegedly admitted to police she had set up the drug deal and was the getaway driver when shots were fired at Hickory Manor Apartments.

Clark told police she had a male passenger with her who allegedly shot Broadnax.

Sigsby has been indicted for first-degree murder and attempted robbery. His bond has been increased to $100,000.
