CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Three men and a juvenile were arrested after police responded to a call of four people sitting in a car and flipping a gun in Clarksville. The call went out around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.
When officers arrived at the scene at the apartment complex on the 2700 block of Trenton Road, police said they could smell an odor of marijuana. One of the men also had a handgun in his lap.
After the men exited the vehicle, eight firearms were found inside, three of which were found to have been stolen in Clarksville vehicle burglaries. Marijuana was also found.
The three men and the juvenile were taken into custody and charged.
Shomari Moody, 18, was charged with burglary, theft of property, simple possession, and unlawful carrying of a deadly weapons. His bond was set at $35,000.
Nekhael Ross, 21, was charged with theft of property and simple possession. His bond was set at $15,000.
Deonte Taylor, 20, was charged with unlawful carrying of a deadly weapon and simple possession. His bond was set at $15,000.
The 17-year-old juvenile was charged with unlawful carrying of a deadly weapon and simple possession. He was cited and released to the custody of a family member.
The investigation is still ongoing. Additional charges are expected.
