MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Three people were sent to an area hospital following a fiery crash along Interstate 24 in Rutherford County.
The incident happened Wednesday night near exit 78 in Murfreesboro.
Specific details of the crash were unknown; however, a pickup caught fire after colliding with a tractor trailer.
Crews were able to quickly put out the flames, but the driver was badly burned.
That person was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where his condition was not known.
The semi driver and his passenger were also injured but are expected to be okay.
No additional details were known.
