3 Juveniles Detained In Clarksville School Threat

Posted

Three juveniles were detained after an alleged threat was made against Clarksville High School.

According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, the threat originated from a group chat on Instagram involving three juveniles from Montgomery County.

All three attend Clarksville High School and have been detained for questioning. Authorities did not identify them.

“This type of activity cannot and will not be tolerated,” Sheriff Fuson said. “We will pick up right where we left off last school year, and prosecute each and every threat to the fullest extent while making examples of those who threaten the safety of our schools.”

Sheriff’s officials said they will have an increased law enforcement presence on campus as a precaution.

The investigation remained ongoing.
