Three people were killed and four other victims were injured in a single-vehicle crash in Van Buren County.
The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. Sunday on State Route 111 near Baker Mountain Road.
Authorities confirmed seven people were in an SUV traveling north that suddenly turned left for unknown reasons and rolled multiple times into the southbound lanes.
Six people were ejected from the SUV when it rolled. Troopers said 33-year-old Josefa Mateo Gomez, 18-year-old Emily Mateo and an unidentified juvenile died at the scene.
Four victims were taken by LifeFlight to Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, and at least two were reportedly in very critical condition.
The roadway was closed to southbound traffic while emergency crews worked at the scene and investigated.
