ROBERTSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WTVF) — Three people were killed in a crash on the Tennessee - Kentucky state line in Robertson County. They have now been identified.
Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) officials say the crash happened at 7:37 p.m. Friday at mile marker 119 of I-65 North near Mitchellville.
Officials say three people were killed in the crash which involved three vehicles: 2014 and 1998 Volvo tractor trailers, and a 2015 Nissan Versa.

The 1998 trailer struck the Versa in the rear, causing the Versa to swerve through the median onto the northbound side of the interstate. The 2014 trailer then struck the Versa in the front, after which both of those vehicles came to rest in the median.
The occupants in the Versa - identified as Robin Cofer, 53; Michael Posey, 58 and Shirley Posey, 53 - were all found dead at the scene.
