Nashville's diversity was in the spotlight during a special tour of the city.
The third annual Caravan Tour of Places of Worship brought together people from across the city.
The Greater Bethel AME Church was one of four stops on the tour. At each spot, visitors had a chance to tour the facility and learn about that particular religion.
“Really understanding each other’s faith and building relationships and bridges is so important for our city and our community,” said Rashed Fakhruddin, President of the Islamic Center of Nashville.
Other stops included the Islamic Center of Nashville, The Gordon Jewish Community Center, and a Hindu Temple.
The event will be held again next year.
