The Distric Attorney's office said they will seek a third Vanderbilt Rape trial for Brandon Banks.
Officials with Glenn Funk's office confirmed that the trial is expected to be held next June, but a final decision will be made Thursday.
Felony charges against Banks have been pending throughout the two trials against Brandon Vandenburg and Cory Batey.
Batey was sentenced to 15 years and Vandenburg was sentenced to 17 years in prison. Vandenburg was considered the ringleader, though he didn't commit the sexual acts. He was dating the victim.
