Four people were shot, two of those fatally injured, in a violent weekend across Nashville. Additional shootings were reported across the state.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said four people have been shot in Nashville since Saturday. Two of those shootings were fatal.

Four additional shootings were reported across the Mid-State over the weekend.
The most recent incident occurred Sunday night on 16th Avenue North near Herman Street. Police 24-year-old David White died at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

He was shot multiple times shortly before 6 p.m. The shooting happened in front of several houses.
Detectives spent hours on the scene talking with any potential eyewitnesses and collecting shell casings.
