A 4-year-old boy died from his injuries after an ATV crash in Crossville.
The child was injured on Friday, September 8, when the ATV he was riding with his father flipped.
It happened at a home on Jesse Loop in Crossville.
According to officials with the Crossville Police Department, the child was injured when the driver lost control and the vehicle flipped over.
Police said the father tried to perform rescue breathing efforts until EMS crews arrived, and they were then continued by Emergency Medical responders,.
The child was transported to the Cumberland Medical Center E.R., and was further flown to U.T. Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly before midnight.
The investigation was ongoing.
