5 injured in Cookeville head-on crash

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Multiple people were injured in a head-on crash in Cookeville Monday.

The crash happened at 3:25 Monday on the 1500 block of Shag Rag Road when a 2005 Dodge Dakota and a 2010 Dodge Journey crashed head-on.

The Dakota was driven by a 17-year-old male with a 17-year-old female as his passenger and the Journey was driven by 25-year-old Alisha Barlow. Also in the Journey, was three juveniles ages 15, 5, and 4 years old.

The 4-year-old and the two 17-year-olds were transported to the Cookeville Hospital with unknown injuries. Barlow 15, and 5-year-old passengers were flown from the scene for medical treatment.
