NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Now that we're heading into the second full week of the new year, things around Nashville are starting to pick back up again. Here's five things that will be going on this week.

Renew America Together - Belmont
Monday, 6 p.m.

Former NATO Supreme Allied Commander General Wesley K. Clark and former Governor of Arkansas Mike Huckabee will hold a conversation on Belmont's campus about important issues facing America as part of Clark's "Renew America Together" initiative.

Renew America Together aims to promote greater common ground by revitalizing public and political discourse.

The conversation is free and open to the public. It will be held in the R. Milton and Denice Johnson Center Large Theater.

Goodwill Job Fair - North Nashville
Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Employers from 22 companies will be at the Goodwill Career Solutions Center at 937 Herman Street looking to fill more than 400 positions in Middle Tennessee.

Job candidates are encouraged to bring a resume, photo ID and their Social Security Card or birth certificate.

Fundraiser for family of officer Spencer Bristol - Hendersonville
Tuesday, 5 to 9 p.m.

Sam's Sports Grill in Hendersonville will be donating 100 percent of profits on Tuesday night to the family of fallen officer Spencer Bristol, who was killed in the line of duty during the final days of 2019.

Sam's Sports Grill is located at 300 Indian Lake Boulevard.

Ronnie Milsap at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum - Downtown Nashville
Friday, 8 p.m.

Grammy winner and Country Music Hall of Fame member Ronnie Milsap will take the stage for an intimate performance at CMA Theater.

Foreigner with the Nashville Symphony - Downtown Nashville
Thursday - Saturday

Foreigner led by founding member Mick Jones along with the Nashville Symphony will play a string of the band's hits at Schermerhorn Symphony Center this weekend.
