NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — It's Memorial Day Weekend and if you are staying in Middle Tennessee for the holiday, there is certainly plenty to do!
Nashville Shores is officially open and this weekend they will be celebrating Memorial Day with fireworks and plenty of fun in the sun.
This weekend only, those who have served in the Armed Forces can purchase tickets for just $24.99 plus tax.
The Shores will be open from 10a.m. to 7p.m. all weekend, including Memorial Day and fireworks will be begin at dark, around 8:45p.m. on Sunday.

Nashville Boogie Vintage Weekender
At the Opryland Resort Nashville Palace, you can attend the Nashville Boogie Vintage Weekender which featured music, fashion, parties, and more, all in the spirit of Mid-Century America.
There will be 5 stages, 80 performances, an outdoor car show, a pinup pageant, and a performance by the B-52s.
TIcket costs range from $25-$135.
Live music will be played on the water at Mitchell Creek Marina in Allons, TN.
Those who attend are encouraged to pack a picnic and come sit by the lake to listen to the bluegrass music and spend time meeting others from the area.
