NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — We've finally made it to the end of the week! Here are five things to do this weekend in Middle Tennessee.

Southeastern International Film Festival – Nashville
Friday – Sunday November 9 – 11

Indie film buffs have a chance to check out the Southeastern International Film Festival, which highlights independent filmmakers across the region. The event kicks off Friday at the Cambria Hotel and wraps Sunday.

SilverSneakers appreciation event – Nashville
Saturday, November 9

Seniors who are looking to stay active are invited to attend the SilverSneakers appreciate event at the Loveless Barn from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. Show up in comfortable shoes and clothes and get moving! (You’ll get a free SilverSneakers t-shirt and Loveless Café’s famous biscuits).

SipTN Wine Festival – Nashville
Saturday, November 9

Calling all wine aficionados! This Saturday you can sample some of the finest wine Tennessee has to offer – and you can purchase a bottle before you leave. The event is family-friendly and there will be artisans, vendors and food. The proceeds will benefit the Nashville Friends of the Farmers' Market.

Military Appreciation Day – Nashville Zoo
Sunday, November 10

Active military personnel, military veterans and their immediate families can get free admission at the Nashville Zoo for Military Appreciation Day. You must show your military ID, veteran organization ID, discharge papers or other official military identification to be given free admission.

Sunday, November 10

Nick Offerman -- yes, that Nick Offerman (Ron Swanson/AKA Duke Silver) -- continues his “All Rise” comedy tour and makes a stop at the Ryman Auditorium on Sunday. There are still tickets available for single seats. Click here for more.
