Free hikes at state parks
Friday: Times vary depending on location
If you need to walk off some of that turkey, Tennessee's state parks are offering free hikes the day after Thanksgiving. All 56 state parks will offer a variety of hikes, in easy terrain or more rugged areas. Some are led by a guide.

Santa Visit at Cheekwood – Nashville
Saturday and Sunday: 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Santa is stopping by Cheekwood’s stable this weekend. Kids (and adults) can write letters to the North Pole and make crafts. Click here for more information.
Manchester Christmas parade
Saturday: 6:30 p.m.
The first Christmas parades are also happening this weekend. In Manchester, they're having a "Rockin Around the Christmas Tree" parade, which will be followed by a tree lighting ceremony on the Square at 7:30 p.m. Click here to see a full lineup.

Sunday: 2 p.m.
