A man was injured and taken to the hospital when he was hit by a vehicle in Lebanon.
It happened around 6:34 p.m. Tuesday when 50-year-old Donal Morgan was crossing North Cumberland Street.
Witnesses told police Morgan was hit by a Chevy Cobalt in the northbound lane of North Cumberland.
The Cobalt was driven by 44-year-old Nealy Stovall of Hartsville. Witnesses went on to say that the driver had no time to react to avoid Morgan. Both Northbound lanes were shut down during the investigation.
The victim was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center Hospital and was listed as a Level 1 Trauma patient.
