FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WTVF) — A total of 55 victims have been identified in the video from a hidden GoPro in a Premier Athletics changing/bathroom.
Fifty-three of the victims are minors, and Franklin Police officials say they've notified the parents of every minor victim and the two adult victims.
Initially, information shared by the Department was that there were 60 victims, but that number changed to 55 because some of the victims were filmed by that camera more than once.
Officials say the department’s continued efforts are now focused on two things: Preparing a Grand Jury presentment in which we will be seeking multiple charges on behalf of each and every one of the victims and reviewing additional evidence in this case.
"The Franklin Police Department wants to ensure that the suspect is held fully accountable for his crimes by leaving no stone unturned. While we’ve made some incredible progress, the investigation is far from over," a press release stated.
Franklin Police officials have not yet named a suspect in the case. However, a man admitted to hiding a camera in the Franklin Premier Athletics bathroom when he was arrested and charged for a similar crime in Smith County.
