Officials have been searching for a missing 57-year-old man who went ginseng hunting and never returned home.
Officials said 57-year-old Danny R. Hall was last seen around 9 a.m. on October 14 in Fentress County.
Reports stated Hall was dropped off by his girlfriend at the end of Sam Beaty Road.
Authorities were contacted about his disappearance just before 9 a.m. on October 17.
Hall was described as standing around 5’9’’ tall and weighing approximately 135 pounds with blue eyes and grey hair.
He was last seen wearing a tan and brown ball cap, a T-shirt of unknown color, blue jeans, black and camouflage boots, and a camouflage backpack.
Officials said they’ve been searching near the areas of Sam Beaty Road, Gouldstown Road, Glenobey Road, Livingston Highway, and Conatser Hollow Road.
The disappearance remained under investigation with another search planned for 8 a.m. on Saturday, November 11.
