Dickens of a Christmas

Details: The 33rd annual street festival features Charles Dickens-era fun filled with 200 musicians, dancers, and characters. There will be food available for purchase, storytelling, and treats. The ice skating rink opens on December 9 until 9pm.
Mount Juliet Christmas Parade

Where: Mount Juliet, Tenn. Starts at North Mount Juliet Road at Weston Drive and ends at North Mount Juliet Road at Charlie Daniels Parkway

Parking: Free in various parts of town

Donelson-Hermitage Christmas Parade

Where: Donelson Pike from Donelson Pike and Lakeland Drive to 108 Donelson Pike, Nashville, Tenn. 37214

Parking: Various local businesses offer free parking
Details: Bring a lawn chair and a blanket. There will be a number of floats and live entertainment.
Porter Flea Holiday Market

Parking: $5 parking at the fairgrounds

Winterfest at Centennial Park

Details: All day shopping at the holiday market featuring unique gifts made by Nashville craft artisans, live music and local performances, games and activities for the whole family, and lots of food – food trucks, s’mores station, and more!
Santa Rampage – Social/Bar Crawl
When: Saturday, December 9 at 8pm
Where: Nashville City Christmas Tree, Public Square - Nashville 1 Public Sq , Nashville, Tenn. 37201
Cost: Free, but Santa attire is required
Parking: wherever available
Details: Santa Rampage has partnered with a number of local bars downtown to provide drink specials for the hundreds of folks dressed as Santa from 12pm to 7pm (drink specials listed at the link). At 8pm, all the Santas will meet at the Christmas tree on 2nd Avenue for a group photo. It’s sure to be a jolly ole time.
Murfreesboro Christmas Parade
When: Sunday, December 10 at 2pm
Where: Downtown Murfreesboro from East Main Street around the square and ends on Walnut Street
Cost: Free
Parking: Various free and paid parking around town
Details: Bring a chair and a blanket and enjoy a variety of decorated floats and live entertainment with over 122 parade entries including 57 floats.
