Dickens of a Christmas
When: Saturday, December 9 from 10am to 4pm and December 10 from 11am to 4pm
Where: Downtown Franklin, Tenn.
Cost: Free
Parking: Free and paid parking around town
Details: The 33rd annual street festival features Charles Dickens-era fun filled with 200 musicians, dancers, and characters. There will be food available for purchase, storytelling, and treats. The ice skating rink opens on December 9 until 9pm.
 
Mount Juliet Christmas Parade
When: Saturday, December 9 at 11am
Where: Mount Juliet, Tenn. Starts at North Mount Juliet Road at Weston Drive and ends at North Mount Juliet Road at Charlie Daniels Parkway
Cost: Free
Parking: Free in various parts of town
Details: Bring a chair and a blanket and enjoy a variety of decorated floats and live entertainment.
 
Donelson-Hermitage Christmas Parade
When: Saturday, December 9 at 2pm
Where: Donelson Pike from Donelson Pike and Lakeland Drive to 108 Donelson Pike, Nashville, Tenn. 37214
Cost: Free
Parking: Various local businesses offer free parking
Details: Bring a lawn chair and a blanket. There will be a number of floats and live entertainment.
 
Porter Flea Holiday Market
When: Saturday, December 9 from 10am to 5pm
Where: The Nashville Fairgrounds, 625 Smith Ave, Nashville, Tenn. 37203
Cost: Free admission
Parking: $5 parking at the fairgrounds
Details: Featuring 150 local and regional vendors, Porter Flea hopes to make holiday shopping fun. From unique handmade gifts to cocktails and crafting tutorials, this year’s holiday market hopes to be extra merry. Featuring home goods, art, clothing, jewelry, and much more.
 
Winterfest at Centennial Park
When: Saturday, December 9 from 10am to 4pm
Where: Centennial Park, 2500 West End Ave, Nashville Tenn. 37203
Cost: Free admission
Parking: Free parking at the park
Details: All day shopping at the holiday market featuring unique gifts made by Nashville craft artisans, live music and local performances, games and activities for the whole family, and lots of food – food trucks, s’mores station, and more!
 
Santa Rampage – Social/Bar Crawl
When: Saturday, December 9 at 8pm
Where: Nashville City Christmas Tree, Public Square - Nashville 1 Public Sq , Nashville, Tenn. 37201
Cost: Free, but Santa attire is required
Parking: wherever available
Details: Santa Rampage has partnered with a number of local bars downtown to provide drink specials for the hundreds of folks dressed as Santa from 12pm to 7pm (drink specials listed at the link). At 8pm, all the Santas will meet at the Christmas tree on 2nd Avenue for a group photo. It’s sure to be a jolly ole time.  
 
 
Murfreesboro Christmas Parade
When: Sunday, December 10 at 2pm
Where: Downtown Murfreesboro from East Main Street around the square and ends on Walnut Street
Cost: Free
Parking: Various free and paid parking around town
Details: Bring a chair and a blanket and enjoy a variety of decorated floats and live entertainment with over 122 parade entries including 57 floats.
