Franklin Police officials have asked for the public's help in their search for a vehicle that hit a 7-year-old.
The incident happened Friday night at Alexander Drive and Draper Court.
Officials said the child was walking with her mother, who was pushing a stroller that carried a second child.
The 7-year- old girl was struck and run over by the hit-and-run driver. She is believed to have suffered serious injuries. Officials said the girl is a 2nd grader.
Police are searching for an older-model, dark green vehicle, possibly a Civic or Accord. Something similar to the 1997 Honda Accord LX pictured above.
A $1,000 reward was offered in the case. Anyone with information was asked to call the Franklin Police Department at 615-794-2513. Tips can be called in anonymously at 615-794-4000.
