BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WTVF) — Police have asked the public’s help for information in connection with a death investigation in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
The call came in at 5:50 p.m. Monday on Durbin Drive near Glen Lily Road. Bowling Green police said 71-year-old Shirley L. Brince was found on the sidewalk surrounded by a large amount of blood and a wound to her side.
Officers provided first aid on scene but she later succumbed to her injuries at a hospital. An autopsy will determine the exact cause of death.
Police said they’re looking to identify the occupants of two vehicles. They believe both cars checked on her immediately after she fell to the sidewalk.
According to detectives, they’re not suspects, they just need to know what their interactions were with Brince. The investigation remains ongoing.
