A crash involving eight vehicles backed up traffic on Interstate 24 East in Nashville.
According to Metro Nashville Police officials, minor injuries were reported and the road was narrowed to only one lane of traffic for a short time on Friday.
Details of how the crash occurred were not immediately released.
All lanes reopened around 5 p.m.
