8th graders charged for bringing gun to school

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Two 13-year-old's were charged with carrying an unloaded handgun at school.

A teacher at LEAD Neely's Bend Middle School noticed two boys passing a backpack back and forth during class.

She took the backpack and found the gun inside. Two bullets were also recovered.

The 8th graders were charged with unlawful possession of a handgun at school.
