NASHVILLE, Tenn. – For anyone who has been dying to dust off your favorite fanny pack, overalls, and neon windbreakers, get ready for the first ever 90's Supercool Fun Fest!
Cumberland Park was set as the place to be Saturday for all the fun and festivities. Organizers said there would be food trucks, live 90's music, and lots of fun games from that era.
The event was planned for a good cause. Allison Laffer came up with the idea to raise money for the Green Beret foundation.
Her fiance has been a Green Beret, and she has known how difficult it can be for families.
“I hear of instances where there’s a gap between government funding and the government taking care of military families when they’re in their time of need, and the Green Berets fills that gap really quickly,” Laffer said.
