Abortion Bill Widrawn In Subcommittee

Nearly half a dozen bills went before a House subcommittee dealing with abortion.

One of the most controversial proposals talked about Tuesday was to ban abortions after 20 weeks, except if the mother's life is in danger.

That bill was withdrawn this morning.  However, lawmakers approved a bill that would require the written consent of a woman in order for medical experiments or research be done with her aborted fetus.
