Nashville’s Acme Feed and Seed has launched its own local radio station that can be heard worldwide.
Acme Radio is the product of Acme’s partnership with Tune In, an app which provides listeners access to more than four million radio stations, to bring Nashville entertainment to listeners across the globe.
Radio officials held a special live broadcast for Wednesday’s launch. It included Mayor Megan Barry, and a performance from Brent Cobb.
In addition to music, Acme Radio’s programming includes hand-picked shows hosted by Nashville’s top influencers that illustrate the overall essence of Music City’s lifestyle - from business to boozing, food to football, and everything in between.
The radio stations is unlike others in that it is a self-funded station, which means the owners have full control of what hits the airwaves.
