NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Planned Parenthood and other abortion rights supporters gathered outside the capitol to send a message to Governor Bill Lee.
Last week the governor proposed a sweeping overhaul of Tennessee's abortion law including a proposal to ban abortion once a fetal heartbeat is detected.

On Tuesday, Planned Parenthood revealed their open letter to the Governor opposing the idea.
There's currently no date set for when the abortion overhaul will be voted on.
